lyrics
My self with my head messing
my heart on a whim transgressing
and I try to come to terms with it all but I don’t know how
my mind forever in frantic mode
knocking on the dumbest doors
I live a wayward life sometimes
then make a mistake, and apologize
then stop, strike a pose,
and behold my flood of prose!
then without warning you'll find me down with all the homies
need to get shit done
no beating round the bush
then sad about some tiny thing and happy about some tiny thing
and in moments I want to be reckless lashing out blind
though I can see, and I do know —
but I don’t know how

I was brought here after listening to a live performance of Makaya's on you tube. I instantly loved the song Holy Lands so much that I had to see if the album version was the same rendition as the live one. Then I listened to the whole album! Universal Beings is a just a groove... It's a mix of traditional and something new, very nice. pandr1900
